We are off to a great start in ELL this year! We have a few new students joining us and are so happy that they are a part of VPE!

Apple Pie!

We made apple pie!

 

First we read a book about how to make apple pie.  Then, we decide to make our own pie! Here is what we did: 

Look at our fun aprons!

First we cut the apples carefully!



Next, we mixed the apples, cinnamon, and sugar.



Then, we patted out our biscuit dough.

Next, we pressed our pies closed.

Finally, we enjoyed our pie! Yum!

Sushi Time!

While reading about Japanese culture, some classmates taught us how to use chopsticks and eat vegetable sushi. Yum!
