Almost Summer!

I can't believe we only have 20 more days of school!  We sure will be busy during our last few days!  ELL students that work with me will be taking the reading and math FAST tests in my classroom next week. Students working on learning English will be able to use bilingual dictionaries and can ask me for help understanding the questions.
With only 20 days to go and lots of fun activities going on, it is easy to lose focus!  Please remind your child to continue working hard!

MAP Testing

MAP testing for all students begins on December 1.  Some ELL students will take the test in my classroom so that they can receive accommodations (extra help since they are learning English). Please encourage your child to do their best and, if they take the test with me, to ask for help when they need it! I know the students will do great!

Students who take the test with me will most likely not take the test on the same day as their homeroom.
